WHAT THEY WILL LEARN
At the Teen Hair Summer Campout, your teen will:
Learn the science behind hair care
Understand how to prep, protect, and grow healthy hair
Get hands-on with the most popular braid styles
Build friendships with other vibrant, creative teens
Leave with a certificate of completion and a valuable life skill
Module 1: Hair Basics
Hair textures, types, and how to identify them
Choosing the right products for different hair needs
Module 2: Infection Control
Hygiene essentials for hairstyling
How to clean and store tools properly
Module 3: Shampooing & Conditioning
Master the prep: how to wash, treat, and care for hair before styling
Module 4: Braiding Foundations
She’ll learn to create and install:
Box Braids, Knotless Braids, Ghana Weaving, Twists, Crochets, Weaving with Extensions.
